About me
My name is Filip Sobkowski, based in Bern, Switzerland, originally from Poland.
My journey with audio started early, helping my father at local events including festivals, weddings, proms and theatre productions. Years of watching and assisting him with live sound gave me a strong foundation in understanding how audio works in real-world environments.
In 2012, I moved to London, where I joined several bands and also took on the role of live sound engineer during performances. Alongside music, years of working in pubs and restaurants helped me develop strong communication and people skills — something I value deeply when working with artists and clients.
In 2023, I graduated from the London School Academy, specialising in Mixing and Mastering. My learning was guided by a mentor whose work includes artists such as U2, Adele, Dua Lipa, Rolling Stones and more, giving me insight into professional mixing and mastering techniques used at the highest level of the industry.
Today, I focus on audio enhancement, cleanup and restoration and also mixing — helping transform recordings into clear and professional sounding audio, track and songs.
